Urgent cases are seen on the day.If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to see a GP within two working days, though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP. If you don't need an appointment within two working days you also have the option to book up to 2 weeks in advance for an afternoon appointment if this is more convenient for you.The GP's also offer a ring back consultation which you can book in advance. Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions. Under normal conditions you can expect to see a nurse within one working day.Let us know if more than one person in the family needs to be seen or you have more than one problem you wish to discuss as this will need extra appointment time.Tell us if you want someone to accompany you during an examination or a private room to discuss any matters. Remember that the results of tests can only be given to the patient.
Please note we have trained chaperones on site who can accompany you during your consultation whether you need an examination or not. Our Chaperones are trained to provide confidential support for all patients who require assistance or support during a Gp or Nurse consultation.

PLEASE NOTE that we now offer pre-bookable appointments using Patient Access .... please come in to the surgery to register for your unique password to Log in. You will need to bring in two forms of ID to register for this service one of which must be photo ID and the other must contain your current address. ( Please allow 7 working days for your application to be activated.)
The practice has a ‘Did Not Attend’ policy. If a patient fails to attend a pre-booked appointment a warning letter will be sent. If this happens THREE times, a meeting date will be set to discuss possible removal from the practice, which would results in you needing to re-register at a new surgery.
Home visits are at the discretion of your doctor. Our doctors typically see four patients in the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible.
Please do not ask your doctor to call unless the patient is genuinely too ill to come to the surgery. A rash or temperature does not prevent patients coming to the surgery and will not endanger others. Simply tell the receptionist on arrival.
Where the condition of the patient does require a home visit, please try to let us know before 10.30 am each day.
If you need urgent healthcare before 08:00am or after 18:30pm Monday - Friday and all day during the weekends and Bank Holidays please telephone 111.
Your telephone call will put you through to a trained member of the NHS staff who will arrange for a doctor or nurse to call you back to advise you on the best course of action for your particular problem.
If your condition worsens or is life threatening please call 999
Patient Transport Service provides non-emergency transport to patients who have a medical condition that would prevent travel by other means.
To book your ambulance please call 0345 241 3012.
